	We are a new branch established after the 12th General Election and officially submitted
our application on 25th April 2008 with the attendance of YB Boo CH and seniors commrade
Ahmad Ton , Gan Ah Leong and Gan Peck Cheng.
	Under the leadership of our pioneer chairman, Dr Tan Yu Siang and a team comprise of
vast experience in management skills with high academic background,we aim to instill the necessary
management skill to our members on the know how of conducting meeting , decision making and
the all important ” teamwork “
	For a start,we were excited and honoured to be given a chance to co-host a fund raising
dinner organized by DAP Batu Pahat. The results is overwhelming and we manage to organize a record
breaking dinner function ever organize by any political party in Batu Pahat with a full attendance of
213 tables.
	A part from the big event on 4th July 2008,we keep ourselves busy with some inhouse and
outdoors activities,such as Dental Talk by Dr Tan YS , bread making demonstration and children
coloring contest.
	We organised the “Moon Cake Festival” and “Christmas” party to bring our members and
their family together for a festive season gathering.
	With the support extended to us,we mange to set up our own “BUKIT PERDANA
RECREATION CLUB” with our karaoke session open to public every Tuesday,Thursday and Sunday.
This is to provide a leisure time and place for the seniors citizen to know new friends.
	Though we are young but we have extend some concrete assistance to set-up a new branch
namely DAP Taman Murni Branch last October.
	We kick off the 2009 with some charity work. Our objectives is to provide some financial aid
to the poor family in terms of food stuffs during the Lunar New Year Festive season.
With the support from donors,we managed to donate 8 family this year and we intended to extend
this exercise during Hari Raya and Deepavali as well.
	Now that we have obtained the proper documents from ” ROS ” , our branch will start
operation to serve the community every Wednesday and Friday.
	Lastly,our next big event of the year is to organise a fund raising dinner this coming
21st June 2009. We sincerely hope to get the same support extended to us last year.

Drawing and Coloring Contest

Main Purpose: Enhance the art of drawing & encourage the interest of drawing among childrens

Date: 24th August 2008 (Sunday)

Time: 10.30am - 12.30pm (2 hours)

Venue: Summit Parade Batu Pahat

Team Arrangement:

Team A - Creative coloring (kindergarden aged below 6 years old)

Team B - Drawing (Primary school aged from 7 - 8 years old)

Team C - Drawing (Primary school aged from 9 - 10 years old)

Team D - Drawing (Primary school aged from 11 - 12 years old)

Check-in time: 10.00am

Registration fee: RM 5

Equipments/Tools: Drawing paper will be provided, table chair & drawing tools bear by participant

Requirements from board of referee(s):

(1) Decision from the board as the final

(2) Participants are allow to add on images and words

(3) Result of submission for contest will be keep by organizer

(4) Lucky draw provided

Prizes:

(1) First, Second, Third and 5 prizes for credit participants

(2) First, Second and Third will be present a hamper and prizes

(3) Each participants will be present a prizes
