DAP TAMAN BUKIT PERDANA ACTION PLAN 2008

OBJECTIVES

Support must come from the grassroot level and members of the public. Many speeches with empty promises will get us no where. We must serve the public and community to get greater support. Action must be seen to be done.

We planned 70pcs for sales to members at RM20.00 per pc

COMMUNITY SERVICE

We intend to provide community service for Taman Bukit Perdana residents. In doing so we hope to promote the concept of DAP is the people’s party. Eventually we hope our branch would become a community cernter in Batu Pahat.

We intend to provide the following community services:-

(1) Taiji / Qigong lessons

1.1) Sessions will be conducted either in the morning and evening

1.2) This will be subjected to the availability of:-

(a) Teacher

(b) Place

(c) Number of students

1.3) Student fees to be decided upon confirmation of the above

(2) Computer training classes

2.1) Target 5 units of desktop computers

2.2) Lessons to be held 3 times per week of 1 hour session

2.3) This training session will cater mainly for the lower income group and for the primary students

2.4) Suggested fees is RM 10 per month

Voluntary computer teacher(s) is required. Allowance will be provided

(3) Tuition classes

3.1) Lessons to be taught - Maths and English

3.2) Lessons to be held 2 times per week of 1 hour session

3.3) Open to primary students from the lower income group of family

3.4) Recommended fees RM 10 per month

Voluntary teacher(s) is required. Allowance will be provided

FUND RAISING CAMPAIGN

We need to have funds to maintain the running of the branch premises and activities. We will organise a fund raising campaign by arranging a dinner as follows:-

Target: 200 tables at RM 500 per table
